Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk

Walks

Where ocean cliffs, salty air and Sydney soul collide! Discover one of Sydney's most iconic coastal journeys, carved by sea and sun.

The Bondi to Bronte walk is a famous, relatively easy, 2.5-4km Sydney coastal trail offering stunning ocean views, passing Tamarama Beach and Mackenzie's Bay, with some stairs, taking about an hour or more (depending on stops) and popular for walking, running, and photography. Stunning to do early in the morning, swim along the way or at the finish spot. You could incorporate lunch at Bronte or eat when you return to Bondi. If you are feeling indulgent you could have lunch at Bondi Icebergs (iconic). Though take some slightly nicer clothes rather than activewear or beachwear.one

Getting there

There are a few options: Regular train services run between the city and Bondi Junction, with connecting buses departing from Bondi Junction to Bondi Beach. Buses also run directly from the Sydney CBD to Bondi Beach, though travel times can vary depending on traffic. Parking in Bondi: Bondi offers two paid parking areas along Campbell Parade, parallel to the beach. However, these fill up quickly on weekends and can be quite expensive. Alternatively, there are several underground public car parks in town. For a more budget-friendly option, consider street parking further away from the beach. Some streets offer free parking with a two-hour time limit. Sandridge Street and Fletcher Street, located south of the beach, are good locations to park.
